Recently, the on-line signing ceremony for friendly cooperation between Weihai Vocational College and Polzunov Altai State Technical University, Russia was held successfully.
Vice Pesident Sun Zhognfeng had an online talk with Andrei Svistala, his counterpart at Polzunov Altai State Technical University, Russia. Both parties discussed the vision of bilateral cooperation and development. The signing ceremony was chaired by Sun Aijuan, Dean of International School of the college. Lian Zhiqiang, Dean of Intelligent Technology School, Zuo Cuihong, Deputy Dean of the School, Yevgeny Proskurin, Director of International Exchange of Polzunov Altai State Technical University, Aleksandr Avdeyev, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, and Ekaterina Kondrachenko, Director of Academic Affairs attended the talk and the ceremony.
During the talk, Sun Zhongfeng made a detailed presentation on the international exchange of our college in recent years, especially, the good relationship between SCO and countries and regions along the Belt and Road. He pointed out that within the past 3 years, we received visitors and visited more than 30 universities from Russia, invited 38 Russian experts and scholars as visiting professors and carried out a series of productive cooperation. Sun also believed that the cooperative school running program for software technology would be a good start for bilateral cooperation. Sun also invited Vice Rector Svistala to visit the college and further deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation.
Vice Rector Svistaa was very pleased to reach an agreement with the college and attend the on-line talk. He said the on-line connection was of great significance and the vision for bilateral cooperation was promising. He also pointed out the mutual objective is to cultivate highly-skilled talents. In this regard, both parties hold “all the possibilities”.
Lu Jing, head of Software technology Program from the School of Intelligent Technology of the college had an in-depth discussion on software technology discipline construction and exchanged experience and agreed on Joint Application for co-operation in running schools with Aleksandr Avdeyev, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Ekaterina Kondrachenko, Director of Academic Affairs。
In the end, Vice President Sun Zhongfeng and Vice Rector Svistala signed the memo on cooperation between Weihai Vocatioanl College and Polzunov Altai State Technical University. Both parities reached an agreement on cooperation in running school, further study and exchange students and visiting teachers.
